Ayumi grew up in the Bay Area and began her career at Michael Anthony Salon in 2014. After a brief move to Denver, Colorado, she returned home to continue sharing her passion for hair. She specializes in lived-in color and balayage techniques and has also gone through extensive training and is certified through HotHeads for hand-tied weft extensions. Ayumi’s commitment to ongoing education keeps her current with the latest trends in cutting, styling, and coloring — ensuring every guest receives the best possible service experience.

Ayumi is Behind the Chair’s One Shot Hair Awards 2022 Brunette Winner and was also named Beauty Launch Pad’s 30 under 30 Haircolorist the same year. She also holds both haircolor and balayage certifications through Redken.
